Sometimes planned activities change

This Past Weekend I had planned on attending the Society for Creative Anachronism Event  outside Springfield Mass., Novice Schola but a weather “inconvenience” occurred.

Winter Storm Nemo- after digging out enough to get my vehicle out, I was deployed at our local Community Emergency Response Team Municipal Shelter.

I wound up being assigned the job of Shelter manager.

While we did not get the population of the full Red Cross Shelters in South Eastern Ct. we did also host the sub regional “War Room” of  CL&P (one of the 2 big power companies)

The war room is where the supervisory team and team leaders coordinated the electricity restoration road crews.

We also hosted the “office space” for the Utilities liaison to the municipalities.

I returned home to find the snow waiting to be removed from the rest of my parking spaces (a project to work on before today’s rain starts)

I Have Completed the Foundation For Shamanic Studies 3 Year Program

Earlier this month our class completed the last week of the East Coast Three Year Program Of Advanced Initiations in Shamanism And Shamanic Healing

It has been an interesting 3 years,enjoyable, challenging, and enlightening

The skills I have developed in this course and the trainings leading up to it enable me to offer a variety of alternative healing techniques and other services to my clients, as well as increasing the variety of classes I am available to teach

I have a space reserved for Pagan Pride Spring event

I’ll have a small array of merchandise and will be doing
Demo’s of a Drum Healing Technique from the Mongolian Republic of Tuva

My Medieval schedule

I will be vending at the S.C.A. events
Novice Schola in Mass March 31
and Balfar’s Challenge April 7th

I will have my calligraphy supplies with me
I’ll be continuing some of the clearance sale prices from Market Day at Birka

Teaching at 2012 CWPN Harvest Gather

I’ll be teaching 2 classes on basic shamanic practices
the topics discussed will be on the world view and basic techniques that are common to many cultures and not specific to one culture
